The Great Reset: Day 17

As I write this, I’m listening to an instrumental version of The Old Rugged Cross, and my heart is overwhelmed by the love of our Lord. It’s unfathomable to me that He would choose someone like me to die for. He endured an unbearable amount of physical pain, but can you imagine the emotional pain and rejection He felt as He looked upon those He loved—those crying out for Him to suffer? And yet, He still said, "Father, forgive them."

Today, as you spend your 20 minutes (or more) with Him, take a moment to reflect on the magnitude of His sacrifice for you. Think about the love it took to willingly endure the cross, just for you.

He loves you, friend—exactly as you are today. Nothing you do, no amount of works or perfection, can make Him love you any more than He already does. His love is strong, pure, and true.

Will you accept it? Will you let it transform you today?
